Welcome to my Metazoic site! This site discusses the existence of the creatures to come along after humans will be extinct. I first became interested in a world after man when I acquired my first copy of Dougal Dixon's After Man: A Zoology of the Future in 1992. However, I unwittingly created creatures that did not exist from the time I was about 8 years old. But it was after I obtained a copy of that book (now a collector's item) that I decided to take these same creatures I created as a child and make them more realistic in an evolutionary sense. Though it may be hard for a lot of us to grasp, humans will soon become extinct. One of the biggest factors of how this will happen is the current overpopulation rate. Which is why I don't contribute to the population. I created this world with little more than mammals fulfilling all ecological niches with the help of some friends. I even gave the era of the age after man a name, I called it the Metazoic, derived from the words for "After-era" (Meta, meaning after, and zoic meaning era). We are now in the Cenozoic era. To view all the animals I have created since I began this project, you can go to the "Meet the Mammals" section of this site. To discuss your own ideas about what you think will happen in the future world, and share your ideas with others, please feel free to leave a comment.
One more thing, some of you may find this site quite offensive, and you have a right to your own opinion. But please respect my right to have an opinion too. I'm not saying there is no GOD, I believe it was HIM who got the ball rolling. But I believe after that, evolution took over. There is so much more evidence of evolution than there is of creation. Even that going on right under our noses. Other than that, enjoy yourself and visit our many links.

Evolution Vs. Creation

Because I believe in evolution, I have several times been called an Atheist,
even by my own mother. I'm not the model Christian most people try to be, but
then again, who totally is? We all sin. Christians that are dedicated do not do
drugs, or talk vulgar talk, drink alcohol, or habitually lie. I don't do all that stuff,
but I do believe in evolution. Does this make me an atheist?

I will always believe there were two people named Adam and Eve who lived in
the Garden of Eden, which many have claimed found this garden. I do believe
there was a man named Moses who wrote the 10 Commandments, and I try to
live by them as best I can. I do believe there was a man named Jesus, who
was the son of GOD, and who died for our sins. I also truly believe in the
power of prayer, as it has worked for me many times before. The part of the
bible I have problems with is the fact that there is no mention of any creatures
supposedly here before man. There are mentions of lions, leopards, tigers,
camels, hyrax (conies), buffalo, and such common creatures like that that we
see today. No where in the Bible does it ever mention dinosaurs of any kind.
We know they were here on this same planet we're on now, but the key
question is where were the humans and other large mammals when dinosaurs
were around?

If you have ever been to Dinosaur National Monument, you see the large
bones of all kinds of dinosaurs that died in a flash flood 150 million years ago,
but no where in that jumble of bones do you see the remains of any large
mammals. No giant ground sloths, no saber-toothed "cats", no Brontotheres,
not even a mammoth. Surely if they were around at this time, living
side-by-side with the dinosaurs, they should have also been taken by this
massive flash-flood. So, where were they? This is a question I have never
seen a single creationist able to answer. Because I put this question to them, I
am called an Atheist. Well, I am not an atheist. Agnostic maybe, but not atheist.
I do believe GOD started life on Earth. It had to start somewhere, somehow. I
believe he put the little protozoa into the waters and brought them to life with a
single flash from a bolt of lightening. But from those tiny little protozoan, and
that quick bolt of lightening, evolution and time must have taken care of the
rest.

To those with their heads so deep in Christianity and creation and poo-poos
the theory of evolution, I wish to see proof in the Bible of dinosaurs that once
existed on this Earth, and why there are no large mammal remains where there
are dinosaur remains. Also, if we were created using dirt, as it says in the
Bible, why is it that all our body fluids have the same chemical composition as
sea water? No where in the Bible does it say (that I know of) that we were
created using sea water. But it could come if the protozoan we actually
evolved from lived in sea water, as is stated in the fossil record. If I can find a
creationist who can answer these questions in a believable sense, I'll gladly
give up my beliefs in evolution. But so far, none of them have been able to
provide me with an answer that would totally and completely abolish my beliefs
in evolution. All I get out of them is "It is hopeless trying to convince you" and
"You are a total atheist." and "You have no respect for the LORD" and "Are
you sure you can call yourself a Christian?"

Evolution is proven throughout Earth's history and is even happening today,
right under our noses. I can remember a nature show I saw 15 years ago about
guenons, which are beagle-sized monkeys that live in the jungles and
scrublands of Africa, and there was an individual that was crossed with redtail
(Cercopithecus ascanius) and blue (C. mitis) and had produced young. Now
this rarely happens in the wild, but even rarer is the ability for these animals to
reproduce. The only time this happens is if it was "meant to be" a new species.
This, I definitely believe, is where the power of GOD comes in, but it was
actual evolution or "selective breeding" that got it there.

Do these beliefs make me a bad Christian? Do they make me evil? Do they
make me only believe something I have proof of? Well, this battle of evolution
vs. creation may never come to an end. The only answer I can give those who
believe differently is that I don't know. But there is better proof out there in our
soil that evolution exists. It's all around us. All we need are the eyes and the
skill to see it with.

Ikr? Creation vs evolution is just plain silly.

I'd just call evolution "Adaptation via Grand Design." After watching The Future is Wild over and over, it kinda makes sense. Add here's more sense, as to why:
